Dear Clients & Friends

Dear Clients & Friends,

We wish to take a moment to reach out to you during this challenging time due to the outbreak of coronavirus. You are a highly valued client and we want to ensure you that Hersman Serles Almond is prioritizing the health and well-being of our clients and employees. This year we celebrate our 40th year in business, and despite the difficult economic and health conditions we all face, we are committed to providing you with the best tax and consulting services possible.

We are deeply saddened to inform you that our dear longtime partner, Cordell Almond, passed away on April 4. It has made a challenging season even more emotionally difficult for all of us. However, we are carrying on as Cordell would have wished.

Our firm has been abiding by the Washington state governor's guidelines for safe operation. For the past two months most of our employees have been working remotely, with a few present at the office on a day-to-day basis. We are now gradually bringing our employees back to the office and have implemented important health and safety measures. We are taking extra precaution to clean the office and monitor the health of anyone entering the office.

As you know, this unique season has had many twists and turns including the extension of the tax deadline to July 15 this year. We are open for business and ready to assist you with your tax and accounting needs at any time. Please contact us if you have not yet sent us your 2019 tax information as we are committed to finishing most returns by June 30, so that our employees can take some well-deserved vacations. While most of you may want to contact us by phone, email or virtually, we have set aside limited space to hold meetings at our office if you desire. Feel free to contact us. We look forward to seeing you all in person very soon!

Yours sincerely,
